Magdalene cont.

So... I went to go protest the showing of Magdalene (aka Anti-Catholicism 101) here. It was the most sickening display of hypocrisy that I have seen in quite a while.

First, we were greeted with a police telling us that it was made known, in no uncertain terms, that we were not to be on the church property. We weren't allowed to block the flow of sidewalk traffic either. And then, we look, and who other than Mr. Rinkoski himself was there. His pure smug attitude was ridiculously disconcerting.

Then we were greeted by the "minister" of this church... his handshake was the weakest I believe that I have ever had the displeasure of knowing in my entire life. After he left, and we passed out some literature (read: truth) about this play, and some patrons didn't like what the truth was. It is really too bad... heresy doesn't like to be exposed...

After the doors closed, I saw that there were lights a little further down the sidewalk and upon investigating, I realized that We would be able to see what was going on, as the windows to the sanctuary were open. (Cue mischievous music) So we went over there are started our payers and in definite vox clara.

At that, the pastor came out and tried to quiet us down, and after I told him that his blatant disrespect for Catholicism and the sacraments was like slapping every priest in the face and taking Jesus and kicking Him in the groin, he asked the officer if there was anything she could do to remove us.

Pastor Heretic: This is a diverse community with the intent of worshiping how we feel is the right way of worshiping (Paraphrased, but in any case, a load of horse manure)
Anders: That sounds a lot like relativism to me...
PH: No, it's called extreme inclusiveness. There was room for all at the L-rd's table.
A: Yeah, you're real welcoming... especially as we've been told to keep from going on your property. That's true welcoming.

Cue request of removal!

No such luck, as none in the neighborhood had complained about noise yet. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad. Finally Jon's friends from St. Madeline's in High Springs came, and they were about 5 lovely women, who ended up praying with us and then talking with us about some of the crap that they've seen over the years, as well as some good things that are happening in this diocese. I came to the knowledge from these nice women, that there are certain Cenacle Sisters who are members of Call to Action, whose members have been excommunicated... how lovely...

It was appalling (not surprising, but still appalling) to see as many parishioners of St. A's there. There were a bunch of parishioners and office employees, and none other than the "Director of Faith Formation" with 38 years of experience, Mr. Tom Rinkoski. Heck, the last on the list even introduced the damn thing!

All in all, I wanted to throw up. Some came over to speak with us with their nasty smug faces, and some members of the heresy that they call a church scolded us and whatnot.

I truly don't know how Mr. Rinkoski sleeps at night knowing that he leads the faithful astray...

St. Mary Magdalene, pray for us!
